Spotting the most random vehicles on RR is fun - seeing TE1432 and 1577 heading towards Wimbledon was not something I would ever expect!

Looks like Abellio are using 3430 on Stratford-Romford rail replacement
Are rail replacement drivers normally trained on E400EVs ?

I suspect the previous driver explains to the next driver how the bus turns on and where the various buttons are etc.

TfL's rail replacement on the eastern side of the District line was very shoddy over the weekend:
-The line was out east of Barking after 2pm on Saturday, yet still I saw CAs at East Ham Station almost 5 hours after the station opened.
-DL7 only ran up to Dagenham East but DL8 didn't, with PA announcements on the Tube to head to Upminister via C2C for local bus services. Putting aside the rail strike, there aren't any direct buses to Elm Park from Upminster.
-DL7 was only supposed to run between Becontree and Dagenham East on Sunday, but as I guessed for operational reasons, buses still carried on to Barking in service.
I understand how much of a logistical challenge it is to have buses cover the closure of a whole Tube line, but in the past couple months TfL haven't been up to scratch. All this disjointedness between the set standard of rail replacements serving most stations and what's happening on the ground shows TfL are trying to save a few quid. Some exceptions exist like no Crossrail rail replacement at Maryland when the 69 and 257 are regular and it's within walking distance to Stratford, but TfL have an obligation to provide adequate arrangements of alternative travel when a station is closed. Telling people to schlep from Upminster to Elm Park via bus when there isn't even a direct bus between the two points is more than disappointing.
