There were quite a few GAL commercial buses for the Victoria to East Croydon rail replacement service along with some coaches. Caught a nice Redwing Coach but the driver got lost several times including us having a mini sightseeing tour of West and East Croydon and a peculiar route around Streatham Vale.

Is there any TfL garage that regularly (not necessarily exclusively) puts electric buses on Rail Replacement Services?
If not, why do we think they are not being used, especially at weekends when there are spares?

TUK sent some to Luton this weekend for the Thameslink block apparently, by all accounts with very predictable outcomes.

TUK generally put them on most replacements they operate, I've noticed I've been seeing them on Tram, DLR and LO replacements when I'm in the area.
