Why didn’t you just say that? Perhaps he means Volvo B9TLs, Arriva had some on the 158, RATP have a handful and Tower Transit (Stagecoach) still have some at LI, along with Go Ahead's WVLs

I believe the 19 reg DEL were mainly ordered for 324 with a few for 112 extension but they couldn’t fit on route 324 so that’s why del frequent 316. The 19 reg DEL’s were ordered mistakenly/purposely/some other reason for the 393. Obviously the 393 couldn’t use them so they were then earmarked for 112 & 324 but for whatever reason, the 324 hasn’t been able to use them so they pretty much are all for the 112 currently (bar the one that is at AH) It's technically more complicated than that, with what would've been the 324 DELs being used to partly upgrade 316, meaning on paper, 112 also has a small amount of 64reg to make up for this, with 2612 probably being used at AH to train drivers on mirrorless buses (yes, DEL2612 is the only mirrorless in the batch)

Doubt the VHRs would return! The current contract could potentially run until 2027 so by then the new contract will more than likely be new electric buses and also the VHRs are not longer at BT anyway.

I forgot that BT have duties on the X140 ( I think?). 2027 is a long way off and lots can and will change between now and then.

They'll also be 11 years old in 2027, hopefully still be in good condition.
