Think it’s the end of the road for DE993, 996, 1011-1013, 1591 at UX now. Given 1123 has now transferred over, and there are a few E6 DEs off the road likely awaiting transfer, 995, 999, 1014, 1023 and 1641 will likely disappear in the coming days too.
I imagine there is a conscious effort within Metroline to start getting rid of anything manually blinded (the W ones will be seen off with the 143/C11s electrics) and the ex First ones bar 3 are all at WJ so will be seen off with the electrics entering service.

Another of 297s batch of WDEs has entered service on the 113. I wonder what will happen to the 297 batch when the 113 own batch of WDEs enter service back into storage. Probably gonna have to put them in service wherever possible, they’ve got so many vehicles on order they probably won’t be able to store them all. There must be a delay of some sort at PV stopping the electrification works, I wonder if W’s programme gas started yet, and surely WJ can’t be far away from taking its BZLs running now, the sole WJ BZL stopped running on the 6th June 263 now?

So which route do we think will receive vehicle 3000? I reckon it will be the W7, but that depends on how the large batch of BDEs for the 210/W7/W8 will be divvied out, 3000 will probably be in the middle of it

Notably quite interesting how they made their way to nearly every operator in London. Metroline obviously inherited the Lions share but RATP had some Ex X and Ex 425 buses, Stagecoach inherited what TT left behind, GAL had all the NP stuff, Arriva had the VLWs on the 123 and 158 and I'm sure Sullivans also had some at one point. Did Abellio have any?

Any idea why these were purchased, perhaps for a PVR increase? Yes the W19 had a frequency increase so needed a couple of extra E200s which would be new enough for the previous contract

Abellio didn’t acquire any ex First vehicles AFAIK Abellio may not have acquired any First vehicles but they have won quite a few ex-First routes
