Not surprising really, it is eleven years ago (22nd June 2013) since First sold up. Notably quite interesting how they made their way to nearly every operator in London. Metroline obviously inherited the Lions share but RATP had some Ex X and Ex 425 buses, Stagecoach inherited what TT left behind, GAL had all the NP stuff, Arriva had the VLWs on the 123 and 158 and I'm sure Sullivans also had some at one point. Did Abellio have any? Not Abellio, but Uno also now have 2 ex-First DNHs. I wonder which batch of the ex-First fleet will be the last in TFL service? Quite a few of those remaining are due to be replaced soon, or the allocated routes have tender results due soon. Maybe the 61reg WVNs on the 127? And just as First's fleet have ended up at most operators, Sullivan have managed to acquire from all London operators - at least if you include their non-TFL fleet - with the only exception being Uno (plus nothing specifically new to Tower Transit, but they do have ex-TT DNs which were new to First).

Go Ahead also took over Orpingtons , back when it was Metrobus in 2007 as well as many of Dagenhams buses went to Blue Triangle, and some ex EHs from 23 are at Uno too so Abelio were the only one to not aquire any ex First buses.

The Metroline interior is well overdue an update now Couldn’t agree more. Awful blue colour with a wood flooring sounds awful

When will the 316 be converted to EVs if still on the cards? Not sure what you mean by “if still on the cards” but when the buses are delivered - WJ itself isn’t even completed given the 187 & 487 are sharing the sole VMS that went into service at WJ.

Unless you count a barrage of unrelated roadworks on the area. Same with W. Though that one will barely start it’s retained contract on 143 in few weeks.

The 487 isn’t sharing the VMS with the 187, it’s a greedy route and keeping the VMS for itself!🤣

Three months back JUNIOR26 said the chargers at WJ had been installed months ago, so it sounds like the usual UKPN hold-up to me. For the record - "National Grid" usually means the 275/400kV transmission network, which only passes it on to DNOs (usually at 132kV) or Network Rail for the 25kV railway. Distribution grid capacity limitations are sometimes (not always) the result of National Grid capacity limitations, depending on where you are.

That picture has been requoted so often that there are more pix of that Electroliner in that thread than there are in service
