It is out of the operators hand.

It is out of the operators hand. I don't think it'll be a problem because the biggest roadblock at the moment is getting garages wired up. I can't imagine that there would be any that aren't wired up at all by 2030 - so once all the charging gubbins is sorted out, new EVs could be introduced speedily. And if for some reason things looked a bit dicey they'd probably stick diesel generators in just to have the EVs in service to meet the target. In my career I saw all sorts of chicanery just to meet a publicly committed deadline.

There was an accident today between a bus on H17 and a van in Sudbury at the junction of Bridgwater Road and Whitton Ave East. Looking at LVF, it appears the bus involved was DEL2264

Some of you have expressed doubts as to where route 224 could be reallocated if RATP were to otherwise want to close RP. I think it could go to BT if route 125 is lost. It would not have much if any more dead mileage than route 226 if it does move there. Can’t see how they can reliably operate the 224 from BT. The issue isn’t the dead mileage but how they can get drivers to the changeover points. At least with the 226 they have the Northern Line for Golders Green. There’s no quick and easy way to get from BT to any point on the 224 unless driver takes the 79 the whole way to Alperton. The quickest way I can think of is: BT- bus to Canons Park- Jubilee to Wembley Park- bus to Alperton. If it had leave RP, I think X, S or V are better options. I don't think those 'better' options are good options anyway. Realistically, there's no other suitable garage to run the 224 from. All the suggestions I've been seeing in regards to the 224 are just complicated and if I'm also being honest laughable.
