I would know because all new electric buses need their own chargers Not true in all scenarios. If a garage has both an electric day route and an electric night route then a charger could be shared. ie the electric bus for a day route would be charged during the night and once the electric bus for the night route has finished for the night it can then utilise the same chargers and charge in the morning.

Brixton has been pretty much doing this for nearly a year. Charging spare buses with the same chargers. TL was doing the same for the 124 when the Optare were there.

As I type this, all the ones that were at BN are on the road. Probably to do with them sitting idle for a year (Copied from Arriva) If that’s what it’s doing to them then Metroline really need to get the 8 remaining 2023 WDEs in service that have now been in storage for nearly a year and a half!!

Would storage cause a bus' suspension to go? Wright have often had multiple quality issues so I'd not be too surprised to see it linked to that.

Metroline’s service on the 28 is looking pretty good to me, I am yet to run into or observe unscheduled long waits and there are consistently a good number of buses at Wandsworth. Maybe a bit of bunching but seeing how non stop the 28 and 220 have been doing that over the years it is probably inevitable, and it’s also not been as frequent bunching as when RATP were running it

I would know because all new electric buses need their own chargers Depending on garage layout, the aim would be to have more buses than chargers. It would need a bit of shunting but it should be possible to charge two buses per night on one charger at some locations. Also if you look at EV time schedules you see some weird (to an old salt like me) weekday running numbers starting about 1000 and finishing about 2400, and other buses starting at 1400 and running through to 0600. This is all to maximise use of the chargers so you could probably get away with 6-7 chargers for every 10 buses.** **This is a complete guess and I don't actually know how many chargers each garage has got because I am very much an ex staff member, but the principle is right. You won't be spending thousands of pounds a piece on chargers to have them idle for 75% of the day.

Apparently, Edgware is to gain 2x SN09 TE from Uxbridge. Presumably for the ex Sullivan school routes.

The two school routes at Edgware are the two on 1 year contracts so I imagine any diesel bus available will do unlike the 697 which would be on a longer contract (I presume three years) so something younger would be needed which I imagine will be VW's if I was to guess.

VWH2700 has moved back to AH leaving just 2 of the ex TT VWHs to not be at AH. I wonder if Metroline are trying to unite all of them at AH?
Could the 635s allocation be changed from LK65s to BL64s I wonder.

I still don't understand why some LK65s left G for the 15 reg! Breaking up the LK65 allocation. Does anyone know the reason?

The 65 reg transferred in before the 295 was lost. I believe 295 had a PVR cut and they were sent for the new 182 contract.
