As mentioned on londonbusroutes.net the 481 is getting a +1 in PVR which leads me to believe that all the ex TT VHs are to stay at AH. 8x VWH (BF15/BL64) for the 481 and 3x VWH (BL64) for the 635 would be my guess which would neatly keep all of them at AH. Is this another increase or is this the +1 from the tender award? Is the 635 officially at AH as that is what LVF is implying.

It's another increase, with Metroline's PVR on the route increasing again from 6 to 7. I can't help but think the route should be increased to every 20 minutes during the day, or alternatively be extended from WMH to somewhere more useful such as Brentford County Court or Osterley Tesco at its existing frequency, all of which would be possible with its new PVR once Cromwell Road Bus Station reopens.

Wow, then TF has 2 buses on top of that, and is Cromwell Road Bus Station not due to reopen in the next month or so? Nonetheless it is very much needed and deserved, I suppose either of those things could happen but it would result in buses being in the wrong place at the wrong time for the THS school journeys.

I believe it will be a few months until Cromwell Road Bus Station reopens if all goes to plan (the published timeframe is "Autumn 2024"). A frequency increase probably would put the buses in the wrong place for the school journeys as you say, but a short extension from WMH should not cause any issues as the current timetable has ridiculously long stand times at both ends.

Incredible waste of money but typical TfL I suppose it isn't needed between the school rush but, believe me, it is desperately needed at school opening and closing time.

Its actually looking quite nice, the main TFL and station name signage is put up and can be seen when walking by. If you look at it, up from the traintracks, you can see a massive concrete stop block at each stand all done as well to protect passengers from any pedal confusion, I would say it could be as early as the start October with the major thing I saw missing just the road/tarmac on the stands side of the station.

If I hypothetically if I wanted know about a fleet movement could emailing the operator give me an accurate answer I need?

If I hypothetically if I wanted know about a fleet movement could emailing the operator give me an accurate answer I need? You can try but you will most likely have a long wait for a reply. You could consider subscribing to LOTS. They give very detailed fleet movements in the monthly TLB and also Buses magazine publishes a fleet list each issue.

Schedules say it's at Lampton, however I've seen 635s dead run from AH before.

Has the 481’s loadings picked up that much to already warrant a frequency increase just three years after its last major increase? (Ie decker conversion). I thought its need for deckers on the last contract was regarded as pretty tenuous at best, and was just done because of the spare fleet RATP had available
