Lost track of the new incoming buses, correct me if I am wrong but majority of routes at WJ are due EVs with the 228s being late the longest? I believe only 187, 228, 316 and 487 are to recieve new buses. H17 and 223 aren't receieving new vehicles. Yes that’s precisely the case.

I imagine that's precisely it, I don't see why they would move the route unless it's required to move to make space for the 266/N266. If it was more convenient to operate from Holloway, it would have likely moved much sooner as Holloway has had space for quite some time. My bet is that the 266 will start off with a Hybrid allocation until Cricklewood garage is ready to accommodate EVs. Almost certainly. Place your bets what will get put to use - 25 hybrids to find! Although if they’d like to please you, I don’t see why they couldn’t utillise normal diesel buses on an interim basis, as has happened with some other routes like the 157 - especially as the current/previous as of Dec 2024 allocation is diesel.

I see it being VWs ex AH and non-MMC TEHs already at the garage.

It could be surplus Hybrids off the routes converting to EVs (assuming they come by December when the 266s new contract starts). Another scenario is that EVs intended for another route are diverted to the 266, however as known that will all depend if Cricklewood is wired up by the time.

That's probably what inspired the choice of Kites for the 46 aswell now.
Following on from the 210 if the 266 goes into W then more BDEs aswell.
U3 and U4 could be anything really same with the U1 and U2. Could be all Wrights and Kites as nothing electric at UX yet.[/quote]
What is/are Kites?

Sorry yes meant the 153. 153 and C11 can share a fleet.

The C11 examples on order are 10.2m presumably because of a restriction so they might not share them in both directions - only one DEL has been on the route this year back in February.

A reminder: route 316 will be using double deckers for the two days of the Notting Hill Carnival. It is diverted to Harrow Road/Elgin Avenue so won't be running along Royal Crescent. As posted in this thread: tangytango.proboards.com/post/828835/thread

As posted in this thread: tangytango.proboards.com/post/828835/threadLooks to be using a few off route 28 (fewer needed as running to White City instead of Kensal Rise) plus VW1184 out of W (?)

As mentioned on londonbusroutes.net the 481 is getting a +1 in PVR which leads me to believe that all the ex TT VHs are to stay at AH.
8x VWH (BF15/BL64) for the 481 and 3x VWH (BL64) for the 635 would be my guess which would neatly keep all of them at AH.
