Just a thought as they ar newer:
Could the 65 reg at UX go to W giving the W9 the 19 reg E200 MMCs, I know full length MMCs can work the W9, the U1 could see our it’s contract using double deckers and the U2 received DEs for the remainder of its contract. Probably would be better than using 11 year old DEMs?

The DEMs are only 11 like you said so theyre perfectly fine for a short 3 year contract. So why change other routes when they have nothing to do with the W9

The DEMs are only 11 like you said so theyre perfectly fine for a short 3 year contract. So why change other routes when they have nothing to do with the W9 It was just a thought, I’ not overall clued up about Metrolien hence why I asked.

U2 did have an allocation of 16 reg MMC DEL's (the infamous batch brought new for the 487 but ended up at UX after they failed a route test on the 487) but they moved a while ago to WJ for the 223 & 316.

TE1427 has been pictured at EW. 1743/1744 are also at EW, having a proper full service. LVF people are to quick to jump to conclusions and withdraw buses LOL
