january is winter though not spring, it was actually shocking to read it because i thought that if they ordered b9tl's it would be enviro400. Apart from those L reg LLWs (correct me if I am wrong) metroline haven't had any low floor wrights buses. Especially gemini's, they left it late i would have loved to see gemini's in previous metroline colours.

'MCV', Spring is usually March, April & May

I actually liked them buses and they were quick and I liked the sound of them, prefer them to whats on the route now (VPL/TE's). Also prefer those b6le sprytes to the crap on the 187/487 now, even the 51reg marshalls are better than the rubbish that is on both routes now. VJ I know youy agree with me about the rubbish on those routes.

You actually liked them? I thought they were the bees knees when I was like, 4 years old and they started entering service, but go forward 10 years and I weren't all that - uncomfortable to ride on, and they were falling to bits. I'm surprised they managed to go that fast along the A41 without a bit of the bodywork falling off them ;D Seriously though they were not very well looked after. the last time i went on one i cant even remember the year it was either 04 or 05 when i went to my cousins in stanmore and i got on L32LWH cant remember the reg, got it from BC all the way to EW and the driver was flooring it and i could just remember thinking how fast they were.

Arriva have dart ones? where? Arriva Southern Counties though it's likely to be only 1-2 examples left with the others sold or scrapped. Before Trustybus were brought by Centrebus, they had M267/8 VPU which were on Dart chassis and possibly are ex Arriva examples.

IC hardly any metroline bus is well looked after Metroline are one of if not the worst for proper maintenance of their fleet, no wonder in majority of recent tenders where they have retained a route it specifies new buses! I wonder what those b9s they have recently ordered are goin to be like by 2012. Their recent enviros at HT are starting to look like vehicles they have had for the past couple years instead of months!
