For all the Voith Enviro400 fans out there...you can rejoice as E38 and E39 have returned to service at Croydon on the 405 today, and all of the ex Bexleyheath E400's at Croydon are back in service. It appears the 202 has gone back to a normal timetable today. Out of the 405's allocation, only E77 is yet to return from storage, although for the 127 EN26 and WVL204/238/239 are still yet to return and E226 is at Hants and Dorset trim E38 came past my office earlier....gotta love those screaming Voith boxes! It’s now broken down outside Purley Tesco which is a shame!

This post is a few hours late, but at Camden i saw SEe92 i think it was on the 214 and the driver was wearing a Tower Transit uniform? Came as a suprise to me because can’t think of what route he transferred from?

Are the VHPs that were on the 37 and TA1 (on the 12) still with Go-Ahead?

Are the VHPs that were on the 37 and TA1 (on the 12) still with Go-Ahead? According to LVF, it looks like the VHPs are still active, last used yesterday (VHP2) and Friday last week (VHP1). LVF record TA1 as VOR since 13 March.

I just saw EN17 in its normal livery but with non-TfL style LED blinds. Is this bus part of the commercial fleet now?

E38 came past my office earlier....gotta love those screaming Voith boxes! Good to see them back but the ones I'm missing are the now sold-on Epsom 07-reg ADEs which had better routes to show themselves off on. The 405 of course is an excellent route to do so as well but past the evening rush hour, the 418 and particularly the 406 are practically full thrash the whole way after you get out of Kingston. I always tried to get a 406 back to Epsom in the evenings - going like hell down the A240 and especially down the hill at Stoneleigh was always great fun. Glad then that my last journey on one was a late evening 406 journey - Kingston to Epsom in 20 mins, absolutely wonderful. Can't say I'll be jumping out of my seat to be getting on a VH once the pandemic ends! They are nippy!

When full electric buses are stored for long periods of time, do they have to have the batteries kept charged whilst in store to keep them maintained/stop them going flat, or do they have to have extra preparations before going back into service to prevent battery drain?

Is there any reason that the ENs at MB only really seem to work only the 353 and 654 with odd appearances on the 126. Is there anything stopping them going on the 320? I’m guessing they’re not blinded for the 208.
