Had a great ride on the 232 to Neasden with a heavy footed driver on the A406 between New Southgate and Henley's Corner. The Streetlites can shift when they want to Although not Go Ahead London, does anyone know if that Streedeck with the 6 cylinder engine ever got made for Go North East?

I know this may seem random but I thought about how time flies with the type of buses that is on the road nowadays. I miss the Volvo Olympians that used to be with both London General and Central. My favourite batch had to be the Palatine 2 buses on the 74 with their high end seats. The Palatine 1 buses for the 35 and 21 were decent too and now everything has moved to Hybrid and Electric. Hopefully when everything eases up I would hope to see one of those buses again (maybe outside london due to ulez). By the way does anyone know if they have been preserved by Bromley Bus presevation group? If you're interested in having a NV, I do believe Abbey Travel may be open to offers on the one they have - it has a PSV MOT on it and is still virtually original inside! Thank you for this.

where are the northumberland park wvl? are they in storage or have they been transferred already? I have seen one used for the staff meal relief bus at Finsbury Park, normally a E most of the times though.

Some of the East London routes in Tranches 771-776 up in early 2022 could be a target for TT such as the 97, 101, 238, 242, 309, 388*, W13 & W16, assuming that some of those routes don't get a two year contract extensions.
*388 is currently in Tranche 765 for January 2022.
In particular, route 388 serving Olympic Park has Tower Transit written all over it - just not on the buses yet. The same way many here was saying the 184 had Metroline written all over it and now it would go to Go-Ahead

Have been reliably informed that WVL204, 238 and 239 are due to be stood down by the end of this month, presumably once the 405 goes, so if you wish to snap or ride them, you haven’t got long left!

Possibly - a few E's will be retained for the 127 and so far no idea which ones will stay. Hopefully, E38, 39 & 57 are lucky enough to stick around, time will tell. Even then, there are non upgraded buses like the remaining Scanias & a few other WVL's that will need replacing.

I wonder what the buses will be that convert the 200 to DD before its own buses arrive. Any older Es from the 127 probably.

I think the implication in LOTS was that the 200 would be converted to d/d as soon as possible, even if only partially at first, and existing spare d/d would be used until the Ees were delivered.

Has an order for Ee's been made official for the route? Also there still seems to be no sign of the order for the 358

So it's possible that those maybe ordered for the route.

So it's possible that those maybe ordered for the route. I assumed it would be Ees. It could be MetroDeckers although personally I think that unlikely for the 200 - it's more likely that Go-Ahead could be considering dual-sourcing if they make a successful all-electric bid for the Sutton routes.
