Been confirmed elsewhere that they will not have pantograph charging capabilities, so assumed will have the same specification as existing Ees. One question though is blind material. Given the new SEs for the 184 had digital blinds I’d expect these to as well. I think the last new vehicles with blinds may well have been the 132s EPs. The 184s buses had roller blinds, the W15s partial allocation had LED blinds.

Does the X26 have journeys start and end from Croydon though to sort of mitigate it? If we were talking about the dead run from a route’s closest (or only) terminus, the 346 is probably a contender but I think the 66 wins. If you were talking about the closest point of a faraway route from a garage then it would be the 549. The closest point on the route from SM would be Loughton at 16 miles but there are no dead runs on the route to Loughton from SM and the dead runs are to South Woodford which are 20 miles Really good answers (thanks), I should have worked out that the longest route (X26) would be in the mix, 66 to Leytonstone is 18.5 miles (A13 / A406 / A12) and I would have never thought of the (now Sullivan) 549.

Same as the 53 to.............Lambeth North/Lower Marsh and the 25 both directions now due to the addition of Holborn Viaduct and Hainault Street.

Same for the 135 since the signifiers (Crossharbour/Asda and Old Street/Provost Street) were added to the announcements. A couple of the EHVs didn't have that pause, but most did.

I wonder how many route 321 workings tend to be EH or MHV nowadays? Some WVLs have been replaced by hybrids following pvr decreases on central London routes.
