LOTS online reports that route 485 is using SEe's normally allocated to route 152. As those on route 152 are a different length from those on routes 163/64, I would be disappointed if it is harder to track one down on route 152. But of a miscommunication there, they are allocated SEes from route P12 which are also 10.2m (same size.) the 152 is using its full batch of SEes.

Looks like all SOEs gone now after SEs from Merton transferred over to Croydon

Why are they not being used on the 152? They are being used on the 152, it’s just that AL have got a few extra spares due to having some of the P12’s allocation that can’t work the route yet That's a relief, I look forward to easily riding one, thanks.

Was talking to driver in Woolwich this morning while he was waiting to take over a 386.
He told me he had 3 buses that broke down with him driving on the route yesterday.
SE88 duly arrived and he took over. Bus vibrating whilst idling. Is it true that the ignition has to be advanced to run with Adblue?
They really are past their sell by date.

Orpington have gained a lot of SE's is that to replace anything or as spares.

Not only does the ignition need to be advanced but the points have to be cleaned every 4 weeks and the rotor arms have had to be replaced by specially reinforced Chinese products. Actually no. Probably overheating problems caused by partially blocked radiators.

I am curious to why this batch appears to need so much remedial work yet the others with RATP and Metroline have so far escaped. I don't think a batch of buses have ever been out of service for so long even after other fires?
