We don’t know for sure it failed, but I’ve always had my doubts about the Ee in City airport. Not a lot of room to do a complete 180° turn If there is an issue with longer DDs here, this will also affect the 129 order, which is due to serve the airport when extended. I wonder why Go Ahead have made such a large BYD BD11 order (if true), considering they are the same length as the BYD/Citys, and various routes due new EVs could have tighter turns in the same way as the 151/200/473/etc. Some have mentioned they could be unsuitable for the 101's stand at Wanstead, or the 88 turning around at Parliament Hill, for example. Length can be overcome if the vehicle has a good turning circle. Besides Go Ahead may be getting a much larger discount with a bulk buy and for being a launch customer. There’s a reason Abellio kept going for new vehicles on the market, even though they have now settled with Wright.

The 473 does gather some custom when flights come in, but most will opt for the cab. The route goes past the airport so there's no harm with a double run, but as you rightly do say you probably could remove the 473 without causing hardship to most people. The pedant in me wants to correctly your City Airport abbreviation, it's LCY as LCA is in Cyprus (not the local one either!) Didn’t know LCA was a Cypriot airport, didn’t even know City airport’s 3 letter code (I only know GTW, STN, LHR, JFK and LAX), I just opted for a dummy’s abbreviation 🤣 Back to LC AY, not even sure if the 129 really needs to go into the City Airport grounds, that would probably be better to just sail past. Again with your taxi theory I can’t see it garnering that much usage to have it detour all that way to the Airport forecourt The pedantic in me also wants to point out that Gatwick is LGW. (Unless you are talking about Holesov airport in Czechia which has been closed since 2009)

Believe someone linked an article mentioning it. Route One references it in it's own article here and it's mentioned in this article too herePictures of a TfL spec BYD intregal have also been linked on here previously It is referenced in various places but don't believe confirmed. I think the various news sites have taken the fact there is a TfL Spec bus and run with the story.
The route one article has the below The BD11 is built to Transport for London specifications, although BYD is yet to confirm reports that Go-Ahead is lined up to be the first buyer in a deal worth more than 100 units. Also the below Go-Ahead Group, which operates buses on behalf of Transport for London (TfL), is claimed to be close to ordering 100 BYD electric double-decker buses. The price of each bus is £400,000 (Rp. 8.1 billion).
Are you infatuated with me or something - you’ve been told not to contact with me yet you keep ignoring what I and moderators have said. As I said before, get help and stop replying to me

Which routes and how many would be received by GAL?

I'm not sure what the future of PL looks like, but I hope that the 493 doesn't return there as the Wimbledon Stadium turns were far too much and since AL took over I haven't observed or experienced any issues with that curtailment
