GAL moves in the last week sees E116, E117, E118, E119 & 120 move to River Road from Peckham with 122 also being prepped for service after an engine replacement. Also 119 has new blinds so i would think all of them have the newest blind sets
Certain 147 & 368 passengers on here will be happy that the MHV/WHV are finally getting refurbished ππ. I wouldnt be surprised if the new Tridentviro sets are moved onto the hybrids as well, replacing all the old sets on them. (Would allow all WHVs & MHVs to spread freely across all routes)

It's hard to think this was Stagecoach's former flagship route the way GAL have treated it.

Especially when you had the 5 at the same garage and they operated routes like the 55.

MHVs & WHVs on occansion stray onto the 101 as well.

I certainly wouldn't say the 101 was a flagship Stagecoach route. Especially when you had the 5 at the same garage and they operated routes like the 55. I always remember being told the 101 had a very strong group of drivers who were part of a union and that's the reason the route ended up at BK when U closed. I was given the impression they never wanted any trouble at the new WH garage.
Not sure how true this is but has always stuck in my head.

I heard that as well and that the 101 was very much a 'grandad route', ie only long serving drivers got onto that rota.

The WHVs and MHVs have a real mixed bag of old and new sets.

Its more of a mish mash with the WHVs definitely, with a range of new sets, 2018 sets and in the case of WHV114 a 2016 set. Now that I think of it i doubt all of them would get new sets but I think at least a few could potentially.

I think a lot of the 101 drivers at Stagecoach went across to GAL when Stagecoach lost the route. However, a I've seen a quite a few of them back working for Stagecoach in recent times

Spotted one of the transferred buses out this evening with the blinds unlit.

I heard that as well and that the 101 was very much a 'grandad route', ie only long serving drivers got onto that rota. When I was at U almost 30 years ago the 101 was very much the 'grandad' route. It also had a VIP who lived on the route and used it daily - let's just say that any service perturbations were soon made known to the OM and GGM.

Spoiler Alert, if it hasn't already been noted. The children's humorous animation "Despicable Me 4" has nothing to do with YJ21 EYD, or route 200 at all. What a swizz.
