Nit pick but SN61s are E40Ds not Tridents mate Was talking about the SN61 E400Hs. Well it isnt allocated any Tridentviros, as 104/304 are allocated the SN61 & SN13 Es. Not sure about what the SN61 EHs are for on paper, all I know it that they came spare from 436.

If the 45/118 proposal takes place, who would operate it, Go Ahead, Arriva or T UK?

When Go Ahead took over the 244 it was intended to run it from MG. In a late change it was allocated to BX. The 132 will not be moving. It needs the pantograph charger on the BX forecourt. The traffic congestion around the Blackwall Tunnel and the works for the new Silvertown Tunnels cause delays for the MG buses. That surprises me, given that Go Ahead/London Central/Bexleybus took over the 244 in 1988 and MG didn’t open until 2017 I should have said when the contract was last renewed.

I should have said something different about the start of the last 244 contract. This was when the route was set to move to MG. The 51 was going to run from MB but runs from BX. If you can't be polite please ignore my comments in future.

Took another ride on route 118 today and I have to say the Es that generally make up the allocation for route 118 are absolutely great vehicles. It is incredible to think that the batch is over 13 years old now and still perform very well compare that with route 250's Ts which are for the most part are terrible.

As I am so pleased that route 157 has remained on my to-do list for this month even after postponing the Norwood area, I included 157 in my new work log-in password this morning!

They're indeed decent which is why I'm surprised a few people have been critical of the 118's E's. They were ropey when they moved in from C (not sure what happened to them there as they were ok at AL) but SW got to work on them and they've been pretty solid ever since.

The 51 moved to BX to day the 227 started at MB. In addition it actually moved due to driver shortages at MB at the time the plan was to run all 51 208 & 227 out of MB this is what I was told. In relation to the 244 is was actually meant to go to MG but stayed put.

Happy to say that MHV1, MHV2 and MHV3 have been refurbished for the 147! Nothing too special like Arriva's refurbishments with LEDs, priority seating or USBs.
