I wonder if these IEs being registered means they’re close to finally entering service Probably not, otherwise some MECs might have been available in time to use on the Dartford Fast Track services Agreed, cos they will be using Sullivan Buses’ E200MMMC for Fastrack I believe, if not then, the 108’s MEC’s maybe that is IF the SEes are ready for the 108 cos they should be ready by now

Had IE11-16 been registered in the past week (as the dates in Bus News suggest), I would've thought they'd enter service pretty sharpish; it's been ages since anything above IE8 hasn't relied on trade plates.
However, gov.uk MOT checks reveal those six were actually registered on 5 September, so plus ça change.

Have any other buses transferred into Northumberland Park for Route 217 apart of WVL293. I was really hoping that it would be the WVLs that were previously on the D7 before it went to Stagecoach, definitely the best B9TLs in my opinion, however it seems the 200 is using them, so it will probably get the ex 262/476 WVNs!

I don’t think anything is clear yet all the WVNs at DS/SI have been used consistently even now outside of school time. The only buses that have been out for a few days diesel wise is the 09 reg Es plus WVL293/4. I think there’s not enough there to assume it’s even getting WVLs as it could simply be there for route learning etc considering nothing has followed it.

I believe there are more WVNs being used at DS and SI, to cover for the refurbishments of the WHVs, all the MHVs are thankfully done and the WHVs have started, so it shouldn't be too long till a few more are done, and less WVNs will have to be used. There are still 2 weeks till 217 moves over, and I just cannot think from the top of my head what other spares the 217 could get.

They’ll need to keep in mind January where buses will be needed for the BX gains so some shuffling will be needed anyways equally there are not enough WVNs free for the 217 & 473 anyways. If I’m honest I can see the 217 getting an allocation we don’t anticipate with the WVNs/WVLs at RR/DX/SI contributing towards the BX electric cover if the 473 is converted to electric operation before their arrival at BX.

I don’t see how the WVNs are covering refurbishing as it’s the 147 that’s being done which is at RR. A batch of E400s are at that garage as cover! The only route at DS due refurbishment is the 115 and don’t believe this has started.

With literally thousands of TfL-spec buses around, someone somewhere must have a dozen spare they could loan to Go-Ahead for a year.

Does anybody know if the 217 will use the WVNs from AL or DS/SI but I highly doubt they would cos they need them for the 131, 200 & 473 that is if the remaining Me’s slowly return to service for the 200?

The E400s are indeed still covering for the 147 And you are right about the 115, the refurbishment work has not started yet!

The 649, 650 and 651 are allocated WHVs on paper but rarely use them and it’s a case of anything that moves. These WHVs were refurbished at the start of the tender years ago and believe the routes are now up for tender again.
