But they haven't? Yesterday was a bad day on it but routes kept getting down to Beckton when under Arriva it would never happen. There is a photo on the Londoner FB of a 173 turning short yesterday at the North Circular. Wouldn’t really count that as Beckton as passengers would have to wait for another bus for onward travel as it’s not really practical to walk from there. The drivers comment seems to suggest that wasn’t the only turn. But there were still plenty of buses going to Beckton however. The entire service wasn't turned as Arriva would always do, not to mention the Arriva turns would always be to Ripple Road which is all the way on the far edge of Barking as opposed to buses being turned elsewhere in Beckton.

Losing streaks are very different from not bidding for a route at all. Correct… and other companies have done the same not bidding for Routes… The previous incumbent of the 404 did not bid. True... but in fairness you could argue that that may have been because the 404 was 7 and a half miles as the crow flies from TV. This wasn't a problem with the 325 at all.

Correct, converting it to EV could end up being an issue. Suitable only for 9.9m Tridents, some 10.4 Volvos have slipped out and got pulled off very quickly The Yutong is 9.8m so if they were to bring out a vision zero spec then they could be ordered. ? 10.9m pelicanyutong.co.uk/vehicle/u11dd/

Must be confusing it with another vehicle. I'm sure a 9.8m electric DD was released in the past year, there was definitely discussion about it being possibly used on the 291, which is what reminded me of it.

Think the model you're thinking of was a diesel powered vehicle for the Indian market. Would never have passed European type approval. It seems to have been removed from their website, so assume now discontinued.

I think he is bored of your lies about the 173, where you have made it up and ignored when Stagecoach have done the same on the route. But they haven't? Yesterday was a bad day on it but routes kept getting down to Beckton when under Arriva it would never happen. BS, the LAST schedule change under Arriva it did. Prior to this, it was down to TfL, not allowing an extra bus and refusing to make any change to the route and practically said to use service control methods for delays. After the last change they also finally agreed to the Beckton roundabout curtailment point. The 173 under the last year or two then had a lot of time due to the extra bus being out later and it was not uncommon for buses to hit near 20 minutes early when school was on holiday. A but also could have been on time at [DX] and by the time it hit Beckton roundabout it was near 10 minutes early in the evening peak. Buses on the 173 was turned away, but the delays was not that bad, the same way how the SL2's were going through.

Stop telling lies, because Arriva would NOT have been allowed to turn the whole service that is total BS and you know it. An auditor would have cut the companies balls off. The only way that is allowed if it was directed by a collator at Centrecomm.

That is down to TfL, in the end TfL allowed Arriva to have an official traffic curtailment at Beckton. What you fail to realise, 90% of the way a route is run and what goes on, TfL have control over. You do not just go and pick and chose what you want and send buses where you want. It is not get your crayons out and do as you please.
