These are not route changes, they are NMCC curtailments due to the protests in Central London.

It was announced yesterday that in first 2 weeks zero fines had been issued for non compliance. So in reality was no enforcement anyway, just a request.

I heard a report on LBC earlier and it made me laugh the mayor's office saying..... once TfL is confident all of its passengers understand the new rules, "enforcement - which may include being refused entry or being fined - will begin... What is there to understand? From my observations the vast majority of people are compliant and unless somebody has a medical exemption what excuse is there? Free masks were available at Victoria Station the other day limited to one per person.

Well there's no excuse for anyone not having a mask for their journey and BTP seemed to be enforcing it.

This is probably more about bus drivers refusing travel for people not wearing face masks. A lot of people don't wear them correctly anyway. I've seen this happen. Lots of people either not wearing masks or not properly covering their nose and mouth. It irritates me. I really do think drivers should refuse entry if the rules aren't followed. Otherwise it's not a rule. It's just guidance or a 'request' as Snowman said.

I'm sure plenty of people reuse their single wear masks as people don't know which types are reusable and which aren't.
