As we approach the big day I wonder if any bus garages will feel the Christmas day parking pressure even more this year with more space being taken up by charging infrastructure.

Some years ago I remember garages like Wood Green, Palmers Green had to park buses at Edmonton due to lack of space. The same with Clapton buses being Parked at Ash Grove.

I seem to recall Metroline parking buses in the car park at Stanmore tube station in the past, probably won't be necessary this year.

I think it still might be, HD is the garage that tends to do this and I don't think HD has lost much work overall as routes tend to move in to replace losses. Although I'm not sure whether nearby garages have space which may negate the need to use the car park.

Merry Christmas to all fellow bus enthusiasts on the forum 🎄 🎁
I hope everyone has a happy and safe day with all involved, and makes up for the absolute disaster that was last Christmas 😁😂
Happy Christmas all 🎄

It's one of the better bus stations to operate because of the various entrances and exits. The stops have tended to be like this based on capacity on the stops. I thought I was the only one who dislikes the layout of NOG bus station. I think it has improved though since the last shuffle of bus stops. Can still be very annoying though when you just need a short hop to the retail parks or parts of the Millennium Village. I stand indoors between stops to try and get a view around the curve, then dash for whatever bus comes first, a strategy that doesn’t always work if there are large crowds following an event at the O2! Plus the logic of bus stops is intriguing frankly. The 132 is on its own which is fine (from observations it spends the max time boarding people given its fast nature - at times it has taken 5 min and the crowds can build up rapidly given its the only route heading that way towards eltham and is the fastest for Blackheath / Eltham and thereafter) The 335 is a mystery - it fits the 132 (D) better than B although I recognise the overlap with 108 (and some extent the 422). The 486 is better suited for A given how it heads out

Will pop this in here (only just noticed!) but congratulations BE37054 (quoll662) on becoming a forum supervisor! Might just ask, but are you supervising because of your London Bus Garages game?
