On point 2, I suppose in fairness with an almost constant flow coming out of the station at times that can be the only way of getting away. I'd certainly make a complaint to TfL about point 4, blatant breach of protocol, but none of it is a great advert for bus travel. Regarding point 2, people were queueing and in the process of getting on, so was trapping people who were already waiting and boarding Agree that none are a good advert for bus travel Funnily enough I witnessed something similar a year or so back in Lewisham on a 180 (which was operated by MG at the time) where the driver shut the door and started moving off with a young child on board and left the mother behind, another passenger alerted the driver and he stopped again and reopened the door. A bit of an argument followed and the driver said it appeared to him that the lady didn't want to board and obviously he can't know which child belongs to who, I thought at the time it was just one of those things. Maybe just coincidence that it was also an MG bus? Possibly even the same driver?

The stops at North Greenwich tend to get very busy but most drivers have to wait patiently till everyone is on board. The 132 for example takes 5+ min to board at times during peaks (and being the first one visible people often make a dash for it!)

Was not impressed with a 25 driver a short time ago! The bus had pulled away from Chapel Road stop in Ilford (Towards Manor Park) but then decided they would stop around the corner on Ilford Hill to let a passenger board the bus. Now I am all for being helpful but this was just plain silly and dangerous as cars coming around the bend would not expect the bus to stop the way they did.
I could ID the bus won't.

Noticed this at Oakwood where the train timetable layout has been changed. Instead of the blocks where it shows the direction of the train and the frequency. It now has a QR Code and a few statements about the frequency.
Also the times between Stations has changed. Now it shows how long it takes for the train to go from one station to the other as opposed to when it showed how long it took to do the whole journey

Noticed on the A13 lodge avenue flyover speed limit has been permanently reduced from 40mph to 30mph. Anyone knows why this is the case? It has been causing havoc this morning.

I noticed that last week, very odd; but think it may be down to the flyover is weak. I am sure it was meant to be temporary and not permanent and should have been replaced years ago. It is a very dangerous location and accident blackspot, with no central reservation.

Does the 30mph section have additional new cameras?

No clue as I havnt driven that section for quite some time but as far as I could tell from a Facebook group (on the A12, A13 and A406!) there aren’t any Have to be all senses 200% alert on the A13.

I have been told it has had a review again and down to the bridge loading the reason for the speed reduction, the same thing happened to Canning Town flyover a few years ago. Gallows Corner flyover had the same some years ago being reduced to 30mph. The weird thing is, the Lodge Avenue flyover was to be replaced in 2024, I really cannot see that happening now, and everything seems to have gone quiet on it. Brent Cross, one of the flyover's this week now has a restriction banning HGV's on it.

Walking down Mile End Road yesterday, I saw a single decker which had sightseeing advertised all over it. Would one ever get a single deck sightseeing bus? I would guess if the financial situation in this country gets really bad, we may end up seeing more single decker tour buses.

It’s not a single decker tour bus and single decker tour bus wouldn’t really make money, there are 2 E200’s branded for the green shuttle which I believe is a hotel feeder service for the main city sightseeing routes

Has the area in front of the Brent Cross shopping centre has its speed limit reduced to 40? It used to be 50 before at some stage after Colney hatch (heading anti clockwise) but this time was always 40 which I found surprising
