Is the 453 currently cut to Baker Street station? I feel I haven’t seen a 453 to Marylebone for ages... Temporarily cut back for some reason. According to 'Londonbusroutes', due to road works in Baker Street currently the 453 is temporarily curtailed to Baker Street between 7:00 and 22:00 until 25th May. Also between 10th February and 13th April 22:00 - 7:00 nightly the 453 is reinstated back to Marylebone but w/b journeys will be diverted via Baker Street, York Street and Gloucester Place and via the 2 to Marylebone.

And the 205? Also not serving Marylebone Stn in each direction. Runs via Marylebone Rd instead. The only bus directly serving Marylebone is the 2/N2 atm.

Makes me wonder, maybe this would lead to TFL permanently rerouting the 205 via the 18 and 27? Making the route more direct and shaving a few mins off the 205's running time thus improving its reliability a little.

Got to commend the driver of 12274 at 8pm tonight, 75 towards Croydon ... if all drivers were like him, sure passenger numbers would not be declining.

Posted at 11:06 DLR strike to go ahead after talks break down A 48-hour strike on London's Docklands Light Railway is to go ahead after talks failed to resolve a dispute over claims of a breakdown in industrial relations.

Saw an unrefurbished SOE sitting in A this morning. Must be from AL because all of A’s SOE’s are refurbished.

They closed the Vanbrugh Hill bus stop for a week, forcing the 180 to have changeovers at the rather unsuited Calvert Road stop instead, and did no work!

And another stop needlessly closed off, walk to the next one if you want the 153 but a taxi will pick you up there no problem! www.flickr.com/photos/154741497@N03/25186778637/in/dateposted-public/

Stops are not just closed for no reason, and in some cases charges are made for bus stop closures, even if works fail to take place. NTCs will reopen stops as part of their checks if no works are taking place or drivers call in to advise of this.

If you look at the photos I've included both stops are closed for no reason, ie there is no reason why buses cannot stop there.
