Was awake a lot last night so herd the N551 up and down and got me thinking.
If HCT Group was to lose the 26 and 388 they wouldn't have any buses available for the N550 and N551 as the contracts don't match up unless they would keep buses for the night routes which would be wasteful.
I know its unlikely they will lose both routes but just a thought.

I think this is the most likely scenario, regardless should both routes be lost then HCT will have to choice but to keep those buses sitting around for most of the day just to see service at night. It's always a risk you take when bidding for a night only route with no day counterpart.

Yeah that's what I thought of too
