To clarify, this does not say what will happen to Ash Grove/Clapton, merely what the Hackney local plan says. And even then, there appear to be two very different potential outcomes.

I wonder how long before the fleet number speculation starts Stagecoach better order more vinyls. I am surprised the ex TT are still running around with no attempted to removed the old logos and web address that now links to a updated website mentioning the London merger with RAPT. I'll start it off by saying I think the decker fleet numbers might start with a 1... Think the whole rebrand of TT may take a little bit of time, they've only been in control for a few weeks. Maybe they're waiting for a longer ladder to be able to reach some of the fleet names WH241 do you know when the ex TT fleet now with Stagecoach will be refurbished & fitted with Stagecoach seat moquette??

Stagecoach will be stretching well into north London if AW is handed over with the 616 school route serving Southgate and Edmonton . In all I would be very exited for Stagecoach taking over AW as they could potentially gain new work from the Edmonton and Chingford areas, maybe routes such as the 379 or the W8 would be good starters? AW is good enough to get the 318 the current batch excluding EN38 won't see another year Seeing Stagecoach buses on the W5 in Highgate will be something

I totally agree with you, as TFL in the past have gone ahead with proposals that people have been strongly opposed but I hope not. The 24/88/205/214 changes are in a real mess, current 205 users would have to change onto 3 bus routes if there to reach Paddington, this will just push them onto the Circle / H&C line.

Exactly what TfL want us to do, pay more and use the tube.

But that fits with TfLs MO at the moment, getting them onto higher value services rather than lower value bus services. Not something I agree with but that the way TfL is now.

I think we do also need to look at chances of things happening. If the District and H&C really will start topping 60mph then people will end up flocking to them.

People who use buses like the 205 to travel long distances will likely continue as they are usually the people who can’t afford trains so will change buses. People still use the 25 to City Thames Link and then catch buses for onward journeys.

I do anything possible to avoid the District Line because it’s painfully slow at the moment.

Exactly what TfL want us to do, pay more and use the tube. But that's what has been happening anyway - as tube and rail services have improved, more people have been willing to pay the higher fares for a better service. The proposed bus service reductions are a reflection of that trend, not a driver.
