...and England are going home, natch. England fans on here... perhaps would you like to start taking your flags down from your house windows and car roofs... I'm not interested in football in the first place however that'll really annoy me tomorrow.... Does everyone suddenly stop being English??? I have a St George cross on my car (not a flag jammed in a window) because I'm ENGLISH and I didn't stop being English at around 1700 today so it stays.

And rightly so, nowt wrong with being proud of your country. It was a tongue-in-cheek comment (despite the smiley)... I'm sure you've made your fair share of them on here. Hell, I weren't exactly supporting them as I mentioned previously. Going on where I live a number of people appear to have taken their flags down... as if they're ashamed. There was a huge England flag draped over somebody's house roof; I saw them take it down as soon as the 3rd goal from Germany was scored. Just know the media will slaughter the team come the morning, having hyped everything up days before. ...and England are going home, natch. Ahh well, they out and about time too. I wonder if Ladbrokes will stop showing that annoying ad of Ian Wright and Chris Kamara over hyping the odds

*Has been laughing since the 1st goal* I will be kind though, as much as England were extremely awful, had Lampards effort went in, it would of been more close, though I would of still seen Germany winning but only by the 1 goal. For one member on here, the disallowed goal may awaken memories of a similar 'phamton' goal that happened in the Premiership. The people to blame are the players (with the exception of David James) and yet again, the fans, for thinking that the World Cup is won before a ball has been kicked . Pedro Mendes should have had that goal allowed!!! If we had beaten United that evening we would've got into the Champs League in 04/05. As it is we had to wait until the last season to have another shot. Still, at least i know the Spurs players, even if not performing, gave their all in the England shirt too. England were poo, simple as that. Got very drunk after the game and i'm now suffering for that!!! Still, my flag is staying up. I'm English and i'm flying my nations colours!! Anyway, my attention has turned to the end of July now when the qualifying starts for the Champions League. COME ON YOU SPURS!!!! ;D Oh, what's this thing called the World Cup?

To be fair, it's regularly no concern to those living in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland........
