Nothing really changes there then, as TGM is an Arriva subsidiary

TGM are in fact taking over Harlow garage to rebrand the Harlow services as Network Harlow. I'm looking forward to this, but also will be sad to see the Arriva livery go!
It may also be of interest the Arriva have given up or lost quite a few contracts. These are the routes which Regal Busways will be taken over from 28/08/2010. * Harlow Sunday contracts 4, 10, 11, 12. * Routes 381/382 (Harlow to Coopersale/Toot Hill via Epping). * Route 391 (Bumbles Green to Harlow). * early morning and late evening 250 (Debden to Waltham Cross). Currently, the 250 is operated by Arriva Mon-Sat, with Regal operating the Sunday service. From August, Regal will operate early morning and late evening journeys on Mon-Sat, and also all day Sundays, with Arriva just holding on with their commercial journeys Mon-Sat daytime.
Regal will also take over Excel Coaches (part of TGM) routes 47/146/147, school route 322.
Regal Busways will also take over a considerable amount of other operator's Essex CC contracts from 29th August.
There are an unbelieveable amount of changes around the Harlow area over the next few months. SM Coaches will have new timetables for all their routes, plus will be starting up new routes under SM Coaches (and also their trading names Olympian and Roadrunner). Including routes 5 (Harlow to Old Harlow via Templefields), 9, 16, M2, R3 (Harlow to Waltham Abbey) and a 392 (Harlow to Broxbourne, unrelated to the other route 392 operated by TWH to Hoddesdon), plus loads of other changed I cant think of right now.

Arriva the Shires seem to be losing a lot of work allround. Maybe thats why they are putting Harlow under TGM my guess is it's a lower cost business so may be able to compete better

Also I think all these Arriva/TGM changes might be a tidy up for the German takeover.

Just to confuse it even more TWH are giving up their routes around Harlow area Yes, they are giving up all their bus routes. I don't know why this is - maybe they are just sticking with private hire or maybe the company is going to cease trading. Well its a shame, as I thought the 555 was doing well, and this is going to give Essex CC problems trying to get a replacement service.

If it goes to tender I would guess Centre Bus

I hope TGM get back into the London network. Although I dont think there us much hope for their nice livery to return?
Will the traditional [white, blue, yellow] livery return on outer london vehicles?

Will the traditional [white, blue, yellow] livery return on outer london vehicles? Yes, it already exists on Network Colchester buses, and also some of Excel's buses (Excel is a subsidary of TGM, but will soon be completly under TGM). I'm not sure if the livery will be the same for the new Network Harlow operations though. You can see it in Kingston on Kingston University services however plain white single deckers and an all red double decker are regular substitutions

I wnder what this will do for the 724 or will the Ware base come under TGM as well. I doubt this will make any difference to the 724, as its a Greenline service, so will not gain any TGM livery. Ware is now under the Arriva The Shires legals, so this probably wont have anything to do with the Network Harlow operations. The 724 operations probably wont be mixed between Ware and Harlow any longer, seeing as they will be under completley different observations. It is likely that the 724 operations will go completley under Harlow, or just go to another Arriva garage.

This might be where the 724 could see changes, unless someone knows anything different!!!
