The 59reg DEs were originally allocated to the H13. After the 395/H13 operator swap, the 59reg switched (on paper) to the H11, with some of its newer 11reg forming the 395's allocation. The 60reg DLEs from the 423 are now at SO for the H11, which has released the 59reg DEs. Some of these have already moved to S for the 72. My guess is that the remaining 59reg DEs will follow, and possibly some 09reg examples going to S as well - then releasing some of the 72's 11reg DEs, which could be used to complete the 326's allocation. The 391 is up for tender soon - if lost, another option could be to use these DLEs on the 440, releasing DMEs to the 326 instead, giving a newer and fully-MMC allocation. There's also the 283's PVR cut which will release a few DLEs. Not all of the 423's DLE's have moved yet - so far, 5 have moved to SO for the H11 replaced by 5 VH's A number of 11 reg DE's have already been freed up from the 72 by older DE's moving into S. With the 79's SPs no longer in service at BT, will a replacement allocation be available to transfer to BT in time for when services resume normal frequencies? The 18/68reg VHs currently used on the 285 have been suggested, however another option could be the 62reg ADHs spare in the fleet. This would also give a simpler DD fleet at BT (just ADEs and ADHs). It was previously expected that EB would retain the 14reg ADE batch for routes 467, 633 and 293D, but these instead went to TV with the 418. Perhaps the 418 could instead gain some SPs or VHs, sending the 14reg ADEs back to EB, with the 62reg ADHs at EB contributing to a new allocation on the 79 (along with some of the spares at V, and any others not in regular service). The 62reg ADH batch not required for the 266/H12 would be a good fit for the 79's TVR. The 62reg ADHs would likely also be available to transfer to BT sooner, while the VHs won't be available until the 285 moves to Abellio. It has been mentioned on multiple occasions that the 79 will likely receive it's contractual VH's so I don't understand this continued talk of ADE's & ADH's moving into BT regardless of any standardisation - having two types at a garage isn't problematic and is the norm at many garages. Currently, BT have three different types and this will drop to two when the SP's move on. Correct, the 79 will receive them. As we are only a couple of weeks away from the 285 leaving, the SPs have already started to be redistributed and several are at Tolworth already to pick up the shortfall when the very early SPs were withdrawn. As for the new SDEs, I believe that they are delayed due to Covid-19, so something will need to be borrowed to cover. I presume that the same applies to Abellio, as they don’t have all of their 270 vehicles yet, let alone the 285. The 72 has its final allocation, and I don’t see anything more changing in the E200 front, although there may be some temporary swaps whilst a couple of campaigns are carried out that need vehicles to be modified.

Only 1 post added since last weekend. This must be an all-time low for the RATP thread! I think it could take until July 25th for the 72/326/395 vehicle reshuffle to be complete. I think the outcome will be 09-reg on route 72, 59-reg on route 395 and 11-reg / DME on route 326. The 59reg DEs were originally allocated to the H13. After the 395/H13 operator swap, the 59reg switched (on paper) to the H11, with some of its newer 11reg forming the 395's allocation. There's also the 283's PVR cut which will release a few DLEs. I think the 72 is getting 59-reg DEs as they will be 14 years old at the end of the extended contract If the 09-reg were used, they would be just into 15th year (which is too old for normal allocations) What happened last year is history, and moves had to fit in with what was available at the time. With everything now (or soon will be) upgraded to euroVI the aim is to allocate to max lifespan (14th year)

The 326 will also be getting 2011 DEs which will be 16 years old at the end of an extended contract, so no real issue with buses being over 15 years old at the end of a contract.

Wasn't there a rumour the ex 94 ADHs were going to the H91 (to work alongside the E3) which would allow the VHs to go back to the 79.
I was under the impression the SPs would stay on the 79 till the end of its or the H91s contract. Although the SPs seemed old by then they were only 8 years old when the 79 contract started which compared with other retentions recently wasn't that old really. The 60 was retained in 2018 aswell with 2010 reg buses and the 256, 365 and 496 are using 2011 reg this year.

The ex 94 ADHs are the spares in the fleet at the moment, covering refurbs, and other such requirements. There doesn’t appear to be any plan to use them for anything else at present, but as always, the plans seem to be quite flexible depending on other outside influences.

Doesn't mean whole batch going to follow. With both the 71 and 418 contracts ending in 13 months, TV needs sufficient buses in meantime. Its history now but 71 and 281 got 5 & 7 year contracts with SPs, but 65 got 7 & 5 years. Therefore some SPs were refurbished 2 years earlier, which will probably influence withdrawal sequence.

TV have lost 5 SPs in recent weeks although arguably they had a couple more than required. I’d say SP40194-96 move. That still leaves enough to replace the 56 reg at both HH and AV.

The PVR of the 71 is 12 so will require 1 extra bus for that, TV will also need a further 3 SPs for the school routes 671, 662 and 613. So I think it may be a case of SP40194-97 moving in and SP40198-SP40204 moving to HH/AV. I'm sure AV could manage without 1 SP until one can be sourced.

TV has already received one ex 79 & H91 10 reg SP so possibly another 4 could move in.

So Volvo will you be going with the 139 to Metroline or are you staying at RATP?

Presumably 3 DLEs move to SO to join the other recent transfers. Plenty of options though. They’re clearly not short of DDs
