AV has managed to get 6/7 MCLs on the road this evening with the 3/4 DLEs used today subbed for MCLs which is unusual as its normally the other way round.

My apologies, I did mean Gemini2s. Hopefully, they will get a good refurb before use. A garage choice will be made later on in the year.

Yeah only the seatings but the grabpoles definitely a no They will be still be hella ugly though, I only see them changing the seat moquette to their original blue. The Gemini 2s are full orange yellow on the bus like the E400s on the Quality Line routes and will not suit the blue moquette at all.

In my view once refurbed their interiors would be kinda like the 11reg DEs when they were refurbed, minus the blue dash of course. Aren’t the handrails on both batches the same as well?

And DLE30010 - that looks to be the rest for the H11 So let get this recap the double decking of route H98 has begun using SPs from the 79. So the OCEs have been withdrawn and DLEs are going to SO for the H9/H10 and H11. So there DEs can go to BT for the 326.

The 28 will be contractually allocated the Gemini2 hybrids from Route 139. Where will route 28/N28 be operated from?

A similar shade of orange for the handrails yes. The existing G2 moquette is a bit out there but the colour scheme of the rest of the bus is relatively neutral so I can't see the new moquette clashing too badly. I'd imagine they'll look similar to the refurbished S1 Metrocities (only differentiated by their yellow handrails) which are fine. If Arriva could pull off their refurbishment on the ex-SLN E200s for the 166 then I'd imagine that this combination can be possible without too much of a visual problem.

Don’t know if you were talking about the 11 reg DEs or the the Gemini 2s about the handrails but I believe they are both orange? The Geminis have light orange ones. Like a sand colour but a bit more orangey bright. They aren’t as orange as the Metroline/Stagecoach handrails.

Yeah the Gemini 2 B5LHs are ex-Transdev that’s why the handrails are orange especially the Enviro 200s.

So I've realised that the 265's DLEs have been renumbered to DLE 30129 - 142 rather than DLE 30027 - 40, which would've filled in the gap between 64reg singleton DLE30026 and 30041 (first bus of the 110's batch). Wonder why they weren't renumbered with the latter set of numbers.

DE20005 is now at NC minus blinds. It looks like 1-5 have now hit the end of the road and with DLEs potentially spare 8-14 at AV/FW may be coming to the end too.
