I saw it and the 698 are up for tender with the 183. I wonder what they will use. Maybe something from dealer stock Unless joint bids are involved, I wouldn't be surprised if the 697/698 are lost. They don't go particularly close to AV/HH, especially with WS and UX much nearer. If Abellio did win the 697/698 those would be their first school routes. I'm not sure if Abellio bother bidding for school routes though.

Are all of the 65s SPs that were replaced by VHs still around? And also what happened to the ex 139 65 reg VHs? - Ex 139 VHs are at FW and TV garages - SP26 is still around at AV

Has there been any update on when SO's expansion work will be complete? And how many additional vehicles will fit compared to the current allocations? I think the H9 & H10 were due to move back, but is now changed to CP (since the 139 loss at BT), though this may be a temporary allocation for the H9/H10. The 223 & 398 also remain at RP, with only the H17 having transferred to SO.

Whenever HH need a bus for the 105 couldn't AV loan them an SP instead of a VH? Most if not all of AVs SPs have the 105 and I'm sure I remember someone on here saying that SPs can do the route?

They are also now blinded - SP20Looking very good Yes great photo! It would just be disappointing as non-school student enthusiasts to be barred from riding exceptional workings like these.

Yes great photo! It would just be disappointing as non-school student enthusiasts to be barred from riding exceptional workings like these. Nothing actually stops you from riding them, drivers themselves have been told to not prevent anyone getting on either service. The TfL website also does say that school children should try to not use non-school service, but only warns that school services will not be operating with social distancing in force. But that said some drivers still seem to be taking this upon themselves. There was a few commuters waiting for the 25 at Holborn Circus and then a 25 driver rocked up and tried to tell us all to get the next bus, all it took was for me to remind him of the rules until he started saying "well this is what the board says" and when I told him to call up Bow over it he just let us on knowing full well he was out of his pay grade by this point. I'd have understood this if there was an army of school children within the next few stops but there wasn't going to be one all the way until at least Whitechapel.

Oh, nice to have the flexibility after all. It would just probably be unpleasant to share the journey with loads of school children.

Yes great photo! It would just be disappointing as non-school student enthusiasts to be barred from riding exceptional workings like these. I did managed to the ride the school extras on the 167 & 462 a couple of times without any issues as a non school student and in some of those journeys I've seen regular adults using the extras as it just happens to be first bus turns up on the route they want to use

Although we will notice the unusual working and might notice the School Service sign, many routine passengers would not notice the difference and would therefore expect to be allowed to board.
