What route will the Hammersmith Bridge ferry take? The ferry is for pedestrians only, not for any bus routes. Those who need to cross from buses from either end, passengers need to use the ferry or walk around Putney or Chiswick. I just wanted to know where it will drop passengers off in Hammersmith.

Whenever the bridge strengthening works finished, the new repairs would in theory be strong enough to carry the weight of single decker electric buses which has been mentioned in various TfL reports. a) If they are going to strengthn the bridge why not just strengthen it enough for DD's?
b) If the answer to a is no for whatever reason can busy routes 33 and 72 get long single decks with strengthning (11.5-12m)?
Don’t know about 72, but I suspect the 33 can take longer buses The corner in Mortlake is a bit tight, but not that bad Richmond used to see 12m Tempos The two ends see (or have seen) 11.3m LTs Can’t see any changes happening until a new contract though

I just wanted to know where it will drop passengers off in Hammersmith. That hasn't been announced yet. TfL has said that it will share more details about the ferry service after it reveals the new operator (selected from the two viable bids that have advanced through the tender process) sometime this month. --- Also, I think it's worth mentioning that there is a dedicated Hammersmith Bridge closure thread, where several of the topics recently raised here are already being discussed, and where some of the questions asked here have already been answered.

I just wanted to know where it will drop passengers off in Hammersmith. I think proposal was to use the existing small pier at end of Chancellor Road, but maybe they will build an alternative

Wasn't awar of the HB thread, so many threads here!

I saw an ADH in the Westbourne Grove area today with around three staff on board. I’d hazard a guess it was route training for the 28.

ADL seem to be getting ahead on their EV orders now with some of the 484 buses already registered and sighting of the 69s EVs, this could mean that the 281/65/371 may have their vehicles near contract start date.

Pedestrians can also use Barnes Railway Bridge, as there is a footpath that runs alongside the tracks (fenced obviously!)

Did the 33 get a 2 year extension? I know there is a seperate thread but no one uses it any more.

According to an RATP driver, the company have cancelled an upcoming meeting with Unite so the strikes this weekend are almost certain to go ahead.

Can't resolve anything if you don't meet. Pathetic management need to get a grip. I wonder if the aim now is to just run the clock down and force the change through, if drivers don't accept the change then they are considered as resigned. Many other companies use this tactic and by this point I wouldn't be surprised to see RATP use it either. The drivers can't keep striking forever as they'll eventually want their wages back and might accept the compromise, if they don't then they'll be replaced. If the issue was anything illegal the Employment Tribunal would have come in now and they don't seem to have.
