Question was the H28 ever operated by London in the 90's? The Armstong site that it has never but I pretty sure remebering of seeing London United Dennis Darts on the H28 in Brentford area.

The 371 seems to be seeing more DLEs instead of shorter DEs
The new contract which started earlier this month is for 10.9m electric buses, but as these haven’t yet arrived seems odd that many older 2011 DLEs are now being used. Does make me wonder if the plan is to replace some of the 2011 DLEs rather than some 2009-2010 DEs as I had previously assumed.
I am guessing that some routes can’t take longer DLEs and might be easier or better (vs book value or lease costs) to offload some DLEs. Or maybe it is just a temporary thing and I am reading too much into reason why the older DLEs are appearing on 371 instead of DEs

At the moment the 371 seems to be the main beneficiary though.

Does the 203 have a SP allocated to it? The 203 doesn't have an SP allocated all SP's are strays.

I saw it in Ashford yesterday. Heading towards Staines it appears to have missed the turn into Woodthorpe Road so crossed the railway before turning left into Stanwell Road. I'm assuming they'll get the hang of it by Seotember! Not quite - they were learning the new curtailment point for Ashford Station. The curtailment point of Ashford War Memorial is to be discontinued. Out of curiousity what is wrong with the Ashford War Memorial curtailment point? They could have two at the Station and War Memorial.

Maybe it was the 267 but I could have sworn I saw a DR on the H28 on Twickenham Road in Brentford once.

Does the 203 have a SP allocated to it? The 203 doesn't have an SP allocated all SP's are strays. The PVR of Route 203 is 7, with TVR being 8. There are seven MCLs, and the 8th bus is a SP. So, the answer is, yes - the 203 has a scheduled SP in its allocation. Doesn’t mean it will always be an SP, as if there is a spare DXE available, then it will likely be used.

The electrics are not due until the new contract starts from April 2022. Until then it's still under the RATP contract where LT conversion's said to still be going ahead. In any case it's not unusual for routes to convert/part convert in its '11th hour', the 414 being an example if this with its partial conversion to hybrids prior to going to Tower Transit in November. What partial conversion to hybrids before the Tower Transit contract? There are three LTs at AV currently with driver and engineer training being undertaken - the 111 will be moving over to LT operation at the end of August…

Thanks for confirming, so your answer is yes COBO one SP allocated as a spare for the 203.
