This is 2 years too late but where are the H37's Optare Tempos now? Have they been withdrawn? They have of course been withdrawn from RATP service!
They are with Central Connect (Galleon Travel), here are videos:
These Tempo's do run in Chingford, Essex but it is close to the G. London border and served by the Central Line so anyone here can get there if they want.
OK thanks

I've heard from a reliable RATP employee that the 111 converts to LT with LTs from RATP, Stagecoach and Abellio.

I find this very peculiar. So it’s to find a home for the surplus LTs basically. Did TfL know the 111 was going to change hands and buses when this was decided ? Were RATP even able to submit a bid using these LTs ? They may have retained it if they could have.

The irony of RATP getting buses from Abellio to run on a route they'll lose to Abellio in about nine month's time. I wonder if they'll use them for to gain the 295 or a 220 retention bid, should the routes pass a route test.

But RATP would have gone to all the trouble of training up AV for LTs just for 7 months. Suppose time will tell. It would make strategic sense for RATP to try and keep them somehow as they at least can be used on a new tender submission.

Well if it's TfL who owns them, what's to stop any other company from using this spare batch in a future bid? Sounds like it'll be available to anyone.

I can imagine that LTs will stay on the 111 for a few months after it transfers to Abellio, as going by past experience, operators are never ready to start using electric buses on the day the new contract commences due to either vehicle or charging equipment delays, so Abellio will be glad of having some vehicles to operate the route. Abellio probably did not want to have to hire SPs from RATP to fill the breech when the E400EV were late or could not be used, at least TF already has LTs so they are a known type but the SPs aren't? Obviously TfL are planning to dump some LTs onto RATP for operating from AV on their double decker routes for the longer term and then RATP will be able to remove the SPs from the garage in advance of contract changes.

There could be other wider factors at play here As an example suppose the LTs could go on another route eg H98 (and I suggest that simply because H32 and H98 will be only routes remaining with SPs), I don’t even know if they would pass a route test RATP could have a shortage of staff after gaining 49, 117, 125, X140 etc resulting in excessive overtime, and by simply shuffling rota so no driver does 50% on 111, they don’t need to lose anyone to TUPE when they lose 111 (if don’t work majority of time then not eligible for TUPE)

As for TUPE as I understand it they can keep their staff if they have work for them and TUPE only comes into it if they don't have other work for them.

Going off topic for a moment the 69 from Go ahead had it's electric buses ready from day one.
