I also think the quality of ride on SPs you will experience depends on the driver, a few days ago I had a very fast SP on the 85 at night which had been diverted to run an extra leg on the A3 through Kingston Vale and despite being limited did reach fast speeds overall. Taking the journey from Eden Street (near) to Putney Station in around 20 minutes. i need to take a trip on the 85 (on an SP of course) it sounds like a really good route from what I've heard. Try taking it at night as drivers will be less reluctant to speed, however SPs at night are very difficult to time so make sure you are checking LVF. I recommend taking it from Kingston to Putney.

To be honest it depends, I don’t know when the diversion from Kingston Vale starts at night (if it’s still going) - try to take it when the diversion is still going because the thrash is good. Although I think all the 10 reg SPs are limited, I was very lucky to get SP40716 which is the best SP from FW right now. If you can’t do the 85, try to get SP40176 on the 71. Most drivers are very fast, SP40186 is trash though

The sooner they’re all gone, the better : and I don’t say that about many buses at all.

The BCE and BE are ok from a drivers point of view. Working air con that blows into you cooling you down is very nice. They are also smooth, and other than all the electronics there is not a whole lot to go wrong. From a controllers viewpoint better batteries for extra range would be appreciated so you don’t have to change so many buses in the evening. Also the electrics seem to interfere with the radio at times.

A win for everyone.
