Upcoming garage changes : 15th October route 218 from London Transit at X to London United at V route 226 takeover deferred until 7th January route 228 from London Transit at X to London United at RP 29th October route 295 gained (currently Metroline WJ) at X (novated London United to London Transit) likely to use mix of buses until BCEs in service I was expecting either AV or V to be mothballed once the 635, H32 and H91 depart to their new operators next year. These moves potentially puts AV more in the frame for that. Suppose it depends whether the company think they can reasonably stand a chance of winning some Abellio / Metroline work. The advantage for AV is AH / SG and TF are full and GW retained the E5 & E7. History tells us that normally garages that lose work gradually fill up again once the tender circle turns back in favour.

Looks like it was on a dead run from TV at the time. Glad to hear nobody was hurt, but I do wonder how that fire started from a rear end collision? Can’t tell if that was an electric car that rear ended it or the car happened to hit the bus in a place where the fuel ignited From pictures I've seen, it looks (not 100% sure just to be clear) as if the fire started from the car and spread to the bus as one picture showed the rear of the bus still intact whilst the car engine was on fire

Assuming they will be leaving a few VHs behind for the E3 It will because it always operated the best from WK If they hadn’t have moved it they would have probably retained it. Also a ploy to keep the drivers . It will also be ruined with LTs

Assuming they will be leaving a few VHs behind for the E3 Didn’t someone say that the 125 was expected to convert to electric in last week of September (although that might have slipped date again), should allow a few VHs to move around when it finally happens

I've since also found out the car involved could have just been a plug in hybrid model so could well have been fuel or some electrics round the engine igniting on impact. Looks like another car which can be seen went into the back of the car which was destroyed which then hit the bus.

Just a random question, what's going to happen to the buses already stored in QLs yard? (e.g MCL1 BW03ZMZ) Have these already been disposed of? Just came across a reel on Instagram of this vehicle being rather brutally dismantled at a scrap dealers in - I think - Bristol.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, the spare OME's are now allocated to the 28. How many are there spare? There are 37 OMEs Route 23 PVR is now only 16 Route C3 PVR is now 9 So 25 needed, so in reality 4-7 available depending on charging needs, but realistically 4 or 5 available for 28
