The 92’s TEs have nowhere to go (should be 95!) so they might as well stick around for a bit if RATP needs to loan buses A few new electrics into Fulwell short term to release VHs (again). Presumably this means using some of the 183's 22reg batch which are currently still in storage? Was it confirmed whether the 295's delay is due to charging infrastructure, or late delivery of its new BCEs?

RATP isn’t short of buses, you can add 5 from 94, there are about 10 BCEs in store (and could put 3 or 4 at multiple garages that already have chargers), there are also handful of SPs that are not really in use and could be reinstated to service if they were desperate. Not likely to be borrowing buses Come to think of it, SPs could move into AV and release the ADEs that have recently been refurbed or some troublesome ADHs. As you say, no shortage of stock available just not necessarily the right type Fresh out the rumour mill is the 94s BCEs are to go to FW for the 71 and the MMCs are due back on the K3 to fulfil contractual requirements. Take this with a pinch of salt as I have but could be an indication VHs will cover the uptake of the 295.

I wish RATP had gone for the new LT seat moquette for those VHRs when they were refurbished (like the new routemasters are getting as they go through refurbishment) as this would've suited them much better than the bland dark blue moquette. Would be interested on other people's views on this.

Changing the seat coverings may mean having to change the colour of other fixtures and fittings. An expensive exercise. Not only that the LT moquette is a TfL design and permission to use it on other vehicles is unlikely to be given.

But details of lease terms are unlikely to be public. Many freeholders will allow changes for a fee of their choosing, but don't have to agree, and might not if cabling means interrupting forecourts of other units

Not sure how this applies to the VHR’s given the member was suggesting the existing interior be retained and just the same new seat moquette used in the LT’s which kept the rest of their interior upon refurbishment
