That section of the A316 you refer to (the Twickenham Bridge diversion) does have a 40mph limit, so ISA could still be adhering to that What has happened to the 65? It runs non stop between Hill rise and Evelyn road via Cresswell Road, St Margaret’s station and up the a316 back to the normal line of route.

The 470 buses are 9.7m so can’t see them heading to the 72 or 419 given they use 10.2m buses. The remaining older DE’s should be surplus to requirements once the 235 electric conversion is complete so I’d guess the 470’s DDE’s will be disposed off

No as the 395 is quite a busy route when I've used it, which isn't a lot of the time but have heard from locals that it's busy a lot of the time in any event. I don't see any benefit in downgrading buses on a route to a shorter length unless there is a re-routing that requires shorter buses be used like the 470 (and even that isn't ideal as others have mentioned but can't be helped if the routing changes)

Has anyone heard anything about London United West and London United East? No idea but apparently there are now 4 subsidiaries; London United West, London United East, London Sovereign and London Transit.
