Where are the Hybrid and Electric buses currently on the 28 destined from the loss in 3 weeks? Go Ahead could certainly do with them for the 200! I say this in jest!

Is there a reason why the N266 uses ADEs occasionally but the (N)220 doesn’t at all? IIRC the 220 was still using VHs overnight even before the 13reg VHs came, in fact the 13reg don’t seem to be used overnight on the 220 either, only the 18’s Gemini 3s are.

It will be interesting to see what RATP's next moves in the medium term regarding procuring new vehicles for their fleet providing the firm retain their routes. RATP have a lot of upcoming work to retain and while they have lot of a significant amount of work since their change of tendering strategy recently so it will be intriguing what happens next. I have noticed a trend in recent tenders of RATP just getting 3 year contracts on the routes they have retain with virtually all their recent awards having existing vehicles specified. It makes me wonder if RATP are restraining themselves from procuring new vehicles. RATP routes like routes 33/N33, 218, 258, 266/N266, H22, H98 will probably need new vehicles regardless of operator. Interesting times ahead for RATP.

I thought route 419 was retained with newer diesel vehicles for its next contract? And I don't think route 33 which has a PVR of 22 can be covered by the buses solely from routes 223 and 465? You could be right about route H98, send the LTs currently on route SL3 to that route. Personally, I hope route H98 goes electric though.

Whilst doing a search on the LVF on vehicles that had done the 114, it threw up YT11, YT11LSD. Anyone know anything of this vehicle? It appeared to of been almost route-bound to the 114 between May > August 2013. Before that, it appeared to of been at Stagecoach for a while, as there 80019 between September 2012 > May 2013 before going to RATP. Looking on Flickr, it also had a stint at Reading Buses and Adventure Travel.

So even at 3 years they should be able to retain most of their routes coming up soon.

Had a stint at Metrobus as 979, looking at one of the descriptions, it was an ex-demonstrator loaned out to TfL operators along with another one to cover for N230UD vehicles being modified? Edit: "YT11LSC and YT11LSD (and YT11LSE for outer-London services) were introduced by Scania whilst the company gradually started taking back all the N230UD chassis buses to undergo changes. YT11LSC was first introduced with London United (numbered SC01), but has now passed to Stagecoach (numbered 80021). YT11LSD was first introduced with Metrobus (numbered 979). then passed to CT Plus (where it was uncoded) and finally Stagecoach (numbered 80019)." Seem to remember they all had go back for modifications to their staircases if my memory serves me right.

Stayerd there for a good few months if I remember correctly! It still seems to be going with New Adventure Travel in Cardiff.
