Fair chance that the SPs finish today with the E1 moving to Metroline and the half term school break next week? Pretty amazing those 2 stragglers have hung on this long. But if buses released from E1 don't kill them off in next few days, I will be surprised too.

Surprisingly, both SP40051 and SP40206 have managed to be in service after the E1 left AV.

Surprisingly, both SP40051 and SP40206 have managed to be in service after the E1 left AV. Tomorrow will be the final day of SP51/206 at AV (as a BH they may not be used), scheduled to be parked up at NC from Tuesday.

Not sure what NC is but that leaves the batch at PD the final of the type in London!

Sullivan operated on Friday (24th) DS51 on 217 & DS54 on 629 UNO have used 1501-1504 in May on school routes including 1503/1504 as recently as Friday Stagecoach 15076/15086 were both out on the 96 on Saturday (25th). As I write SP40206 is operating the H98...final day in service...

As I write SP40206 is operating the H98...final day in service... Not sure why Stagecoach are still using some Scanias - I assume those remaining are mostly covering for refurbishments? The few still in service at WH could also be covering for the MMCs (currently on the 242) - but could easily be replaced now by some ex-86 E400s. Sullivan probably don't need their Scanias either, with quite a few E400s spare. Only the 12/13reg are really needed for the School routes, with the older Es then available to cover on the 298. I think Uno's will stay around for a while longer though. The ex-Metroline 60reg E400s could allow a few to go, but may need at least 2 more additional vehicles to fully withdraw the Scanias. They have acquired 2 E400EVs (ex-demonstrators), but these are likely needed to replace the integral BYDs that have been withdrawn. Perhaps Uno could try to get some of the ex-W3 Ts which Arriva have recently withdrawn? I wonder why Uno only acquired 1 of the ex-TT MMCs - it was previously expected all three would be purchased for the 643?

The ones at WH have been confirmed as being replaced very soon, one E400 has transferred and one other is in progress. With respect you are looking on from the outside and making pure guesses, they must know what they are doing and the reason why Scanias remained in service until now.
