Predicted 419 allocation: DLE30049-50 DLE30291-97 DLE30329-31 DLE30337-38 14 buses for a PVR of 12 Fair shout although 338 is already at AV for the 110 allocation and 337 recently transferred out from AV to V. Allocations are going to be tight though and the spares currently at WK for the electrics (293/4) would need covering. Quick random question: do you know what’s happened to DE20106? Will be trying to track down these SN10s on Sunday as I want to take a journey on some before they go with their days numbered. Absolutely loved using them on the C1 back in the early 2010’s so I have a close affinity with these buses, with DE20106 being my favourite. Judging by LVF it looks like it conked out on the 117 on the 12/8, I hope that’s not its service done now before I’ve had the chance!! 😭

DLE30051 seen in the side alley at AV That one was sat in the garage entrance for a while, fully blinded for the 419 and with “do not enter” tape on it.

😂😂just caught ADE40494 on the 220?! Pretty nice and very rare since it’s only been out for an hour, but why was the transfer needed?

I fancy ADE40472/3 will depart soon as they are the only 2 remaining from that batch 40446-73). Lots of spare from AV of course so you would think this is a permanent transfer.

Allocations are going to be tight though and the spares currently at WK for the electrics (293/4) would need covering. Pretty tight allocations at AV: 110: PVR 11 (TVR 13) 117: PVR 10 (TVR 11) 419: PVR 12 (TVR 14) H22: PVR 12 (TVR 14) Total of 43 Currently at AV: DLE30041-48/30053-61/30068-70/30292/30327-28/30332-36/30338 (29 buses) DLE30049-50 should be moving over so that makes 31, plus DLE30329-31 which are spare after the 235 converted to electrics can move making 35. If DLE30291-97 move over then that makes 42, which will fit the PVRs at AV, so it would look like this: 110: DLE30041-53 117: MCM30084-92, DLE30327-28 419: DLE30291-97,DLE30332-38 (Assuming DLE30337 moves back) H22: DLE30054-61, DLE300068-70, DLE30329-31. Though that leaves the 235 with no electric covers. Maybe some of the spares from DLE30129-141 can move over?

Convert the 411 to DD using the ADE 14 reg from AV and then numbers won’t be so tight. Just an idea….

Even better idea if you are upgrading a route to double deckers, put them on the 293, put the 293s DXEs on the 411 and then use the 411s DLEs elsewhere as you suggest.

how does the 72 get electrics if they’re displaced from the C1/70, they’re native only to S right?

Route H98 only had ADEs for a year, effectively a stop-gap between SPs and LTs.
When I saw the DLE on route 440, I wondered whether it could convert to DLE and the DMEs replace DEs on a route unsuited to DLEs?
I also saw DLE30006 on route 110, but thought this batch was in the process of withdrawal.
