Do garage codes on the side of buses get changed when they transfer? They should do but more often they don't. I saw a Q MHV on the 91 the other day Seems to come down to the operator, I think Stagecoach are the only operator that does it religiously these days.

7X runs between East Acton, Brunel Road and Paddington Station serving all route 7 stops between East Acton and Latymer Upper School Playing Fields before running express to Paddington Station calling only at White City Station, Shepherd's Bush Bus Interchange, Holland Park Station, Notting Hill Gate Station, Lancaster Gate Station and Paddington Station. Route 7 is serving all stops along the diversion. There wasn’t any plan to run 2X this year I got on a 7 at Notting Hill Gate this afternoon after attending the carnival and it's basically just stopping at the larger stops along Bayswater Road like how the 7X does until Paddington, but continued to Oxford Circus of course. Not sure if it should in fact be stopping at more stops, but at least it's how the iBus suggested and no one got off except near the tube stations anyway. According to the TfL journey planner the 7 had all the stops along the diversion listed. Otherwise there would be no point of the 7X as they both go the serve the same roads along the diversion.

Yeah I'd imagine it's more an iBus issue, as otherwise there's no point for a 7X as you said. The iBus only showed "Queensway Station", "Bayswater Station", "Paddington Station", "Marble Arch Station/Edgware Road", "Marble Arch Station" and "Oxford Circus Station/John Lewis" as the stops along the route, but the driver did stop at Selfridges where I got off.

Something out of the blue. Last night whilst I was driving home thrpugh East Acton I saw a Bush bound 272 with what looked like a couple passengers on it about half midnight. Special carnival arrangement or nah.........

Special carnival arrangement or nah......... Might have just been the last service of the night running late. Towards Shepherds Bush, its scheduled to run at 00:17 and towards Chiswick, its 00:20

Will the 117 commence the new contract with Mercs or the MMCs? The Citaros seem to have reduced.
I do hope the Citaros stay cos the 117 will be the only TFL route with them.

Fair point, however any operator even when higher in the league tables will have routes that do/are struggling. Hopefully the 148 will get better with the new schedule with more run times.

Credit where credits due, fair play to them. Last time I had to use loads of their routes in the West London area, 33, 117, 235, 290, H22 (even the 481 back when they had it) every single route was running like absolute poo, nothing was to time and couldn’t rely on any of them. While the Metroline and TUK counterparts ran pretty much like clockwork So fair play to them for pulling it round

ADE40472 RP>AV. The complete unpredictability of London United vehicle allocations lives on. Ade 72 is a horrible bus to drive 0-20mph between bus stops. Probably gone for repairs Seems to be some ADE swapping going on between AV and RP probably to do with lease and servicing timelines. ADE 40429/72 are now at AV whilst 40308 and 40482 have gone the other direction. Shame to see the ex Quality Line 14 reg’s being split up but with AV only needing perhaps 3 from the next week it was no doubt inevitable.
