Shows that AL look after their PVL's mechanically, shame its got a faded paint job Some of the older PVLs are faster than most new buses. PVL190 was a good one, don't know what happened to that. That was leased along with the rest of that batch, I loved that batch as some were over-revvers

PVL314 on the 45 - Although it was making a feint whirring sound and hissing, it got from gear 1-5 in just 7 seconds VLA108 on the 2 - For some reason, this 05 reg VLA could actually fly along - usually they are very poor.

DLA209 - The best Euro 2 DLA at BN. Very quick overtook a T on 60 and on 250. Also it seems DW83 has been restored back to health. Go on it today it doesn't have a braking system problem anymore.

TA648 of W is a decent bus. I had it on the 210 a few nights ago and oddly when the driver used the kickdown, it was going all the way up to the redline at 2500rpm before upshifting. It doesn't even have the dash gear selectors. Going up that hill in Archway, it made light work of it . From a standing start at the bottom, it was running at around 2200rpm in 3rd, ~30mph most of the way and maintained that until reaching the top. Very impressed I must say, although the engine delivers less power once it gets above 2200rpm.

Ease up there Mr defensive!!!! I obviously didn't understand your "hence the blinds" bit!!! I just think you should be a little more careful with what you post on the Internet. Wouldn't wanna get anyone in trouble. Don't look for arguments where there ain't one mate. 😉

So NSL has dropped from 70 to 60mph now? Illegal for a bus to do more than 60mph. There's a different NSL for cars and buses. Interesting to know that, thanks. That's one question I'll get on my theory ;D

It is a fair point what Madstuntman has said. He was trying to protect your mate. Always be careful what you post as you don't know these days where it will end up. I don't have a problem....
