Noticed today that the 37 from Acre Lane is diverted via the 35 routing to Demark Hill/Coldharbour Lane Junction then via the 40/176/185 via Dogs Kennel Hill back to line of route from East Dulwich: Goose Green. I wonder why it couldn't instead go from Acre Lane along Effra Road then follow the 3's diversion via Tulse Hill and Norwood Road then further follow the 3 up to West Dulwich, then via P13 to Dulwich College then via P4 through Dulwich Village to pick up line of route at Half Moon Lane. I am guessing there must be a turning restriction somewhere, suddenly at Thurlow Park Road junction with Croxted Road. The 37 did the diversion you described when the bridge at North Dulwich was being strengthened in the late 90's - can only guess that snooty Dulwich Village residents aren't happy with deckers running through even on a diverted route as the Croxted Road/Thurlow Park Road junction has no restrictions.

Of course, I forgot about the village residents. I actually drove the 37 a few times during that North Dulwich diversion back in 1998/99. It lasted quite a while too. Thanks on the clarification regarding that junction.

Westbound buses only are currently missing out Bow Roundabout and instead going over the top of it. The westbound off slip is still open to all traffic however reduced to one lane.

Yep it's being happening like that for a while now. Think that bit may get cleared up within a couple of months or more. However, all buses baring the 339 and N8 will be using the flyover. Speaking off diversion I did happen to see a D3 back on it's original route Saturday morning for some reason while the rest of the D3's were carrying out the diversion via Cambridge Heath Road and Whitechapel.

No buses running along the ENTIRE Streatham Hill due to an accident. DLA181 is the cause I think.
All buses are diverted by route 50's back roads behind Streatham Hill.

345's are on diversion through Brixton & along Acre Lane & Clapham Park Road I take it somethings happened either on Stockwell Road, Clapham High Street or Clapham Road, depending on which other routes are also on diversion.

Routes 2 196 333 345 are subject to diversion and delays in Stockwell Road/Stockwell Lane SW9, due to a road traffic collision.

I went to Stockwell on the 50 as usual this morning, and I noticed that diversion boards have gone up around the Streatham Hill area. Basically, the 45 and the 57 will be diverted via Thornton Avenue and Streatham Hill Station. Presumably, these diversions will occur some time in the near future. EDIT: forgot I also saw diversion boards for the 137, 417 & N137. They will be diverted by Clarence Avenue.

Must have something to do with Streatham Place junction with Kings Avenue, perhaps resurfacing.

Must have something to do with Streatham Place junction with Kings Avenue, perhaps resurfacing. Seems you were right. All of the Clapham Park buses were diverted via Atkins Road and Clarence Avenue (the 137, 417 & N137 serving the full length of Clarence Avenue). Don't know to much about the other routes, but my 50 was diverted via Streatham Hill (/Christchurch Road).

I noticed the other day on the 37 that ibus now announces bus stops when on diversion. I was surprised to hear it announce "Lavender Hill Police Station", which is part of the route's Putney Heath-bound diversion.
