The problem there is that punters on southbound Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Haymarket would be waiting for the 3, unaware that the firm had suspended the service in those areas. That is true but when it was at BC it was a regular occurrence whether things went wrong. Probably explains why the route moved to QB. Anway, im guesing the majority of the 3 and 12 will terminate at Whitehall and the 6, 9, 13 and 139 will terminate at piccadilly Would it not be better for all buses to divert via St. Martins Place, Charing Cross Road, Shaftsbury Avenue, Great Windmill Street, Haymarket & Charles II Street (the 9 & N9 missing out Charles II Street) rather than weirdly serving Tottenham Court Road Station which none of these routes normally serve. Im guessing theres no left turn from charing cross into shaftsbury avenue. I know that you would need a wide berth to make such a turn due to the angle of the junction. Im guessing theres no left turn from charing cross into shaftsbury avenue. I know that you would need a wide berth to make such a turn due to the angle of the junction. The turn is not a banned left turn, but buses can't complete the left turn into Shaftesbury Avenue from Charing Cross Road Safely, hence the long diversion.

Upcoming diversion which should make things interesting at Norwood Garage. Ernest Avenue is being shut in about a fortnight to allow Thames Water to finally sort out a leak under the road. Apparently they're digging down about a metre(!) right across the width of the road so the predicted reopening isn't until November. Rothschild Street (which runs behind the garage) is becoming one-way east to west and has already had a new Bus Stand painted on it. Apparently there will also be a temporary Bus Stop up there too to make up for the one outside N garage. As for N garage, the closure means that we'll be having to use the back entrance to the shed, though they're trying to keep it unidirectional working (ie. either all in or all out). Should be fun!

Routes 144, 217, 231 and 444 diverted because of a RTC on the A10 between White Hart Lane and Great Cambridge Roundabout. Looks like only a Northbound diversion and the diversion has been happening for at least 2 hours

Roadworks on Hatton Road mean the 203, H25 and H26 are on diversion southbound via the A30 Great South West Road. This has probably been going on for over a week judging by the curtailments on the 203 (Ashford Hospital / Hounslow West / Hounslow, Bell Corner)

Routes 35, 45 and 345 are currently diverted via Herne Hill instead of Coldharbour Lane. A fatality I guess. Overheard some passengers mentioning about this and the Brixton splash

Noticed today that the 37 from Acre Lane is diverted via the 35 routing to Demark Hill/Coldharbour Lane Junction then via the 40/176/185 via Dogs Kennel Hill back to line of route from East Dulwich: Goose Green.
I wonder why it couldn't instead go from Acre Lane along Effra Road then follow the 3's diversion via Tulse Hill and Norwood Road then further follow the 3 up to West Dulwich, then via P13 to Dulwich College then via P4 through Dulwich Village to pick up line of route at Half Moon Lane.
I am guessing there must be a turning restriction somewhere, suddenly at Thurlow Park Road junction with Croxted Road.
