A diversion I have seen today in Twickenham. Hampton Road is closed for some reason for a very short stretch on the southern side of Twickenham Green. The signposted diversion for cars is via First Cross Road, which only adds a short distance, but this would not be suitable for buses. The bus diversion is to continue on Staines Road, left into Sixth Cross Road to Fulwell Garage except for the 290 which continues on Staines Road missing out Fulwell altogether. Quite a long diversion and a few unreserved stops for a few yards of roadworks. Water main leak. First, second, third fourth and fifth crossroads not the widest

Finally, some sense has prevailed regarding the closure of Coldharbour Lane where a gap has been created to allow the 37 to go back to turning right from Acre Lane to Effra Road towards Peckham rather than having to double run past Brixton Station & use the one way system at the Academy to turn around. Hopefully, once this latest closure has finished, they've finally sorted he issue because the same spot has been dug up countless times over the last couple of years causing misery to 37 & P5 passengers - sadly, P5 passengers will have to continue enduring the diversion via Brixton Station & Gresham Road.

Ahh right, today was the first time I've seen it opened - personally, it should be left open at all times as the 37 is bad enough without having to double run along Brixton Road as well.

Oh dear
HAMMERSMITH BRIDGE, W6: Routes 33 72 209 419 and 485 are experiencing serious delays using Hammersmith Bridge, due to the weight restrictions being implemented. We are currently working with Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council to resolve this issue.

I hope TfL give enough notice to passengers as they are pretty good in not telling people until the very last minute, thank you for putting this up!

The N207 looked be be disrupted overnight. Looked like Oxford Street west was closed so buses were on diversion via Regent Street and Picadilly.
Then I saw N207s in service in Earls Court! Not one but two corridors south of its line of route!

What can I say, they have been working on this scheme for ages, well over a year, you would think they would have looked at this and sorted it in advance of Baker Street becoming two-way.

I got a bit confused for a minute before realising it's another Gloucester Road Road and not the one the 49 goes along. lol
