I believe this is the bus with the modified/retrofitted four speed Voith box, her original unit being the three speed variant.

Peoplesbus have acquired some of the ex Metroline TE17xx E400's which do have a nice touch of keeping the powerblinds that it used in London with using the Dayglo blinds.

Good grief, I thought that bus died ages ago. If you'd told me back in 1998 that this bus would have survived while most of its later DML/DMS cousins were scrapped ages ago, I wouldn't have believed you. Not sure why it's listed as a Volvo, unless it was fitted with a replacement Volvo engine? It's an integral Marshall vehicle.
