Former Arriva London VLA106 has been reported to be with Ensignbus for sale now (though not listed on the website) Is/was with First Buses of Somerset Yes I believe all of VLA39, 46, 49, 53, 76, 106 & 124 have all finished in the South West and 7 are heading back to BASE Bus & Coach Sales although I believe 106 & another example are destined for Ensignbus.
VLA114/117 I believe are still in service though.

Former Arriva London VLA106 has been reported to be with Ensignbus for sale now (though not listed on the website) I remember this batch as these were new to N for the 249 & 432, they were a bit of a disappointment compared to the LWB examples as they were quite dull sounding and dare I say it, not as quick either. Strange as the 128 batch were pretty decent overall and the 55 reg at BN were nippy and sounded great

yes it’s preservable but you need deep pockets to get it back to original condition and parts are hard to come by nowadays, as I’m co-owner of M48 and the trouble to get parts is real...however our bus is coming along and maybe next year she could be back on the road depending on parts and how deep is our pockets, it’s an expensive job to owning a bus but the enjoyment is worthwhile

Way too much work, for preservation. You would need to buy a whole interior and gut out all the fittings installed, not to mention ceiling and side panels that may have been butchered.
