Just a split from the " New routes at BE" thread because I decided to make a thread regarding about the Garages. Just saying, there is not really that much space at BE, When I last had a look they were parking buses in the staff car park How close is BE to the Stagecoach's RM garage? Edgware garage is shared by Transdev London Sovereign (BT) and Metroline (EW) Fulwell garage is shared by Abellio (TF) and RATP London United (FW) Lastly, Ash Grove garage is shared by Arriva (AE) and CT Plus (HK) Would it make more space to merge the two garages? As i have looked on Google maps in satellite view, it can certainly be done to make a more bigger garage. But its a limited space of land. I think they should combine the 2 garages In my opinion. But I wouldn't mind seeing one of the Stagecoach buses being borrowed by GAL Blue Triangle.

BE is right next door to the Stagecoach garage, they are seperated by a fence. Although competition would probably deny you your wish of bus sharing.

For example BE and RM are run by two different operators, so if they merge together and as you said " But I wouldn't mind seeing one of the Stagecoach buses being borrowed by GAL Blue Triangle" that basically means that GAL and Stagecoach have become one, seeing that they're using buses off each other and that can result to tender losses. It is best if they all stayed how they are at the moment, sharing garages.

Not quite sharing but back in the 90s Arriva's BA and London General's BB literally had a brick wall between them ....Arriva's side being part of the original London Transport Battersea garage.

I thought both Fulwell garages are separate rather than sharing together? As built (for trams) it was one large building with an entrance each end, into Wellington Road and Stanley Road. It now has a wall across the middle, but physically remains one building, Abellio has the Stanley Road end, LU the Wellington Road end. old photo with the tram tracks visible both endscurrent photo

How close were London General and East Thames Buses at Mandela Way before the sale of ETB to Go-Ahead?

How close were London General and East Thames Buses at Mandela Way before the sale of ETB to Go-Ahead? I think they overlooked each other IIRC

Shared an entrance from Mandela Way itself, and separated by a metal fence.
