A bit of fun but it might bring forth some interesting ideas and comments. Imagine London was deregulated and you had your own bus company. What 2 bus routes would you run in London? It can be a direct copy of an existing London service or something brand new but it should be a route you believe would be profitable if you ran it how you like. You can choose any vehicle type (even old ones) that will fit round the route and also decide what hours it will run and the frequencies. You don't need to say what garage it would from unless you want to. Please give start, end and route details, vehicle type and the hours of operation / frequencies in your reply. Please note this is different from the "invent 2 tfl routes thread" because these routes have to make money.

I'd operate two routes notably the 25 and 111, slightly changed:
25 would be Victoria to Romford Market via current 73, 25 and 86. There would be shorts between Victoria and Ilford on weekday peaks. Using E50Hs, E50Ds. 24 hour service and every 10 minutes (5mins with shorts) (15mins during weekday nights).
111 - Heathrow Terminal 4-Tolworth via T5, Central, 111, 281. Using E40Ds. 24 hour service, every 10mins daytime, every 15mins early morning, every 30mins nightly.
£2 flat fare (£3 return)

I would be looking for something profitable and would aim for Heathrow.
I would start at Epsom via Surbiton (alternate buses only, with others from Wimbledon and Raynes Park, Norbiton Station), then both via Kingston, Hampton wick, Twickenham, A316, Hospital bridge Rd, Hounslow, Hounslow West to Heathrow. Buses would be single deck with leather seats, WiFi, luggage racks, at least 12m long (maybe 13.5m) to attract those who want something better than ordinary bus but think taxis are expensive. Don't know bus type but maybe Volvo 7900. Would have them painted in a bold two tone blue scheme with airport express and simplified route map on sides.

Out of interest vjaska, why both L and T classes?
What about something along the lines of Denham - Uxbridge - West Drayton - Stockley Buisness Park - Heathrow Central - Heathrow 5, Staines? Those stops only.

Those stops only. They are my favourite buses along with the M class MCW Metrobus - growing up in Brixton, I was lucky to have all 3 types to use. I haven't liked another bus as much since them lol.
